The Korean War and Philippine Participation
필리핀은 유엔군의 일원으로 한국에 군대를 파견했습니다. 필리핀 한국원정군(PEFTOK)은 전쟁 기간 동안 대한민국을 지원했습니다.
The Philippine Expeditionary Force to Korea (PEFTOK) served as part of the United Nations effort during the Korean War. A total of 7,420 Filipino service members contributed to the war effort.

The Armistice and the Pursuit of Peace

Korea and the Philippines signed a cultural agreement covering culture, arts, and science. The agreement entered into force on April 27, 1973.

Elevation to a Strategic Partnership
수교 75주년을 맞아 양국은 관계를 전략적 동반자 관계로 격상했습니다. 같은 해 한·필리핀 자유무역협정(FTA)이 12월 발효되었습니다.
In the 75th anniversary year of diplomatic relations, the two countries elevated their ties to a strategic partnership. The Korea–Philippines Free Trade Agreement also entered into force in December 2024.
